This is the preliminary (or launch) version of the 2024-2025 VCU Bulletin. We may add courses that expose our students to cutting-edge content and transformative learning. We may also add content to the general education program that focuses on racial literacy and a racial literacy graduation requirement, and may receive notification of additional program approvals after the launch. The final edition and full PDF version will include these updates and will be available in August prior to the beginning of the fall semester.

The faculty and administrative offices of the school are housed at 1100 E. Leigh St. This building has classrooms equipped with a full range of audiovisual equipment and a clinical learning center equipped for simulations and skills labs. Both graduate and undergraduate courses are also scheduled in other classrooms on campus. The Office of Student Success, located in the School of Nursing, provides support to students, including advising and academic coaching.

The clinical experiences for nursing courses are conducted at the VCU Health System and in numerous other urban and rural health care settings. The health care settings provide generalized and specialized inpatient, ambulatory and community services. Students are given a range of diverse experiences. Selection of specific facilities for student experience is based upon curricular and advanced-practice certification requirements, the educational needs of the individual student and the services available.
