IDAI 600. AI Foundations and Applied Strategy. 3 Hours.
Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online). 3 credits. The course introduces students to the principles, systems and strategic uses of artificial intelligence. Students will explore how modern AI systems—from neural networks to large language models—learn, reason and act. Emphasis is on understanding how AI works conceptually, how to evaluate its use responsibly and how to design value driven AI applications. No programming background is required.
