This is the preliminary (or launch) version of the 2024-2025 VCU Bulletin. Courses that expose students to cutting-edge content and transformative learning may be added and notification of additional program approvals may be received prior to finalization. General education program content is also subject to change. The final edition and full PDF version will include these updates and will be available in August prior to the beginning of the fall semester.

The Honors College Guaranteed Admission Program provides an opportunity for honors students to gain admission into select university professional health sciences or graduate programs. (Visit The Honors College website for specific program information.) Honors students who are admitted into the Guaranteed Admissions Program and successfully complete all requirements of the program may enter their designated graduate or professional program without competing via general admission at a later date.

Guaranteed Admission Program application procedures

To be accepted into a Guaranteed Admission Program, a student must be accepted by the university, by The Honors College and by the admissions committee of the program the student wishes to enter. A separate application for the Guaranteed Admission Program is required. The admissions committee may require an interview. The application (postmark) deadline for entering first-year students for the Guaranteed Admission Program (all health sciences) is Nov. 15 of the year prior to the year the student is planning to enroll at VCU.
