This is the preliminary (or launch) version of the 2024-2025 VCU Bulletin. We may add courses that expose our students to cutting-edge content and transformative learning. We may also add content to the general education program that focuses on racial literacy and a racial literacy graduation requirement, and may receive notification of additional program approvals after the launch. The final edition and full PDF version will include these updates and will be available in August prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
The College of Health Professions is an institutional member of the American Society of Allied Health Professions and the Virginia Association of Allied Health Professions. All of its programs are approved or accredited by the appropriate national professional or educational organizations.

The COA is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation to accredit programs of nurse anesthesia. Graduates of the entry-to-practice doctoral program are eligible to take the examination for certification conducted by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
