The management minor empowers non-business students to develop knowledge and complementary skills needed to work effectively in organizations. No matter the major, all students work for organizations necessitating skill development in areas such as leadership, interpersonal relationships, communication and negotiations.
The management minor is for non-management majors. The following business concentrations are not eligible to add this minor: management/business administration, management/international management, management/entrepreneurship and human resource management.
This minor requires a minimum of 18 credits. Students must attain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in these courses. Note: MGMT 310 (core course) is a prerequisite to MGMT 319.
