The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies provides opportunities for students to combine disciplines in unique ways. Students can apply for a nontraditional, individualized and interdisciplinary course of study by designing their own curriculum. (For a detailed description of the individualized interdisciplinary studies program offered through the University College, see the program page in this bulletin.) Students also may apply for a prescribed interdisciplinary specialization: the liberal studies for early and elementary education major that coordinates with the Extended Teacher Preparation Program administered jointly by the College of Humanities and Sciences and the School of Education. The program descriptions and curriculum outlines may be accessed using the program index or the links provided.
